Dormant Account

Turns out I let an account at a credit union go dormant. Here in Virgina after 5 years of no activity they close the account and give the money to the state. I had thought I had made a withdrawal or deposit in the last five years. The credit union Langley Federal, in my Hampton home town, was very nice about it and are sending me my money first and then going to get it back from the state.
